The imagery in this piece is locks of various shapes and size, jumbled in a pile. Locks are objects that keep us from getting into places we may wish to go, but also keep our things and places safe from others. This expresses a feeling of being locked down during the COVID19 outbreak. The piece is illuminated internally with an LED panel that accentuates the layers in the glass, the relief of the cassettes, and amplifies the dichroic color shift as the viewer walks past the piece.
